Corporate Coach
"Developing Human
Performance in the Enterprise"
|
|
|
Leveraging 20 years of experience in different corporate environments, a dual academic background (engineering and MBA) and my coaching posture, I work with managers to help them step back from their everyday work, analyse their career, overcome obstacles, identify their skills and motivations and improve their performance.

Career
Crisis Coaching
|
Life at work for an executive is not
as smooth as before and many executives discover one of the two kinds
of career crises.
Their position is not as interesting as it used to be: they do not get along with their new boss – the project they were working on is not of the highest priority anymore – their budget has been cut by 50% - their expatriation period is over and they do not find any interesting position back at the headquarter...
They realize that their
position is going to be terminated and they just do not know how to
handle the situation.
|
|
I belong to
Transition
Plus, a firm specialized in helping executives sorting these situations out. In the first case, we will invite executives to step back and consider the different options they can choose– fight and find a solution internally or leave and find a new position outside of the organization. In the second case, we will ensure that the executives live their separation period not as a verdict but as an opportunity to discover a new organization or a new job.
We will consider the various aspects (professional and personal) of the situation: communication, reputation, energy, risks, finance, legal and fiscal. A successful project leads to an executive who has overcome his/her career crisis and who is full of energy to bounce back in his/her professional life. |

Training
Seminars
|
Beside
coaching, training is also a good way to help managers develop their
management skills by leveraging theories or experiences from previous
managers.
By attending these seminars, participants
will learn (or revise) some basic management rules, which will allow them
to better manage and grow their teams.
These seminars are based on role-plays and group discussions. Each
participant is asked in turn to play the role of the manager and receives a
personal feedback from the other participants as well as from the trainer.
|
|
This helps him to develop a personal list
of strengths and areas of development. Topics often covered include:
|
 |
Team management (Hersey Blanchard model)
|
 |
Cross-functional team management
|
 |
Cross cultural management |
 |
Manager - Coach |
 |
Running apraisal interviews |
 |
The basics of communication

Interactive
Workshops
In these workshops we will lead a common reflexion, fueled mainly by each participant’s experience. Recent workshops I have run dealt with
|
 |
Networking: why and how to network
in the enterprise |
|
 |
Cross cultural management: leverage
differences rather than suffer from them |
|
|
|

|
Best Practice Sharing :
how to benefit from each other’s experience.
|
 |
Team building and motivational events :
organization of ad-hoc workshops involving other arts (theater, improvisation, clown, creativity...) |

Development
centers and 360°
IIf you need to prepare the replacement of your top management teams, you might be interested in identifying talents among your employees and prepare them to take part into the executive team.
To this purpose, I organize assessment centers customized for each customer context (and more specifically their skill repository), with up to five experienced consultants.
After a manager goes through a few tests, role-plays, interviews, 360° and exercises, the consultant in charge identifies his strengthes and areas of improvment, based on his career goals. Participants will then set a plan of action with their HR organization. This plan will be reviewed on a regular basis through follow-up calls with his consultant.

My Profile
Background
and experience
Armed
with a
MS in
Telecommunications
and an MBA (Insead),
I worked for 17 years in Paris, Frankfurt, Denver, New York in technology
companies, big or small, such as France Télécom, EDS, Business Objects. I
held various positions including technical expert, project manager,
product manager, marketing manager and director of marketing – with some
team management responsibilities. I evolved for 15 years in a
cross-cultural environment, using English as my unique working language.
At some point during these
years, I had the opportunity to work with a coach and I discovered its
power and impact. In 2005, I decided to become a coach myself and I joined
the Alter&Coach
training (run by Thierry Chavel and Paule Boury). I was certified in
January 2006. I then spent three years with the consulting firm Eurogroup,
running behavioral trainings and assessment centers.
Today, as a Transition Plus partner, I primarly coach executives to help them overcome their career
crisis. I also work in the corporate world for any projects that relate to
the development of human performance in the Enterprise. I belong to a
network of 40 professionals: consultants, coaches, psychologs, yoga
teachers, actors, stage managers, clowns... that I can leverage depending
on my customers needs.

Tools
and Resources
In
any of my activities, I might rely on some "technics", but always in a
soft way so that they never downplay the relation with my clients.

 |

Miscellaneous
I n
this kind of role, you need to "walk the talk" - I feel it is important to have
a balanced life, with regards to sport activities (I run every week, swim
whenever I can), healthy food, relaxation (I practise ashtanga yoga).
I also love photography and have performed theater for many years.
In parallel, I have co-developped and organized a business simulation game
for junior year students (16 to 17 years old). Its purpose is to have them
discover the corporate world, make them work in groups and develop their
public speaking skills.
